PUT THE KETTLE ON...

My first full-length release is out right now on Dirty Demos!

"Solo using guitar and sometimes a microphone, run through a mixing board and various electronics. 'Making Clocks' is a sweet display of sound textures, microsound and glitch. Think bleak, minimal and marvellous."

Six tracks, just short of an hour, exploring the quieter side of drones, loops and electroacoustics.

Available this very minute from:
Dirty Demos
Normans Records

Thanks to the folks from the Scaledown night in Soho, my solo set from 30th May is available to hear on LastFM, and will also appear for download right here in the next few days. Gratitude also to Sakura Sundays in High Wycombe and Bad Timing in Cambridge.

I'll be performing with the No Context trio at 60 Million Postcards, Bournemouth on 30th June courtesy of Forbidden Planet.

I've been doing a bit of recording...

Four brand new tunes of mine are now up for grabs - called "Ballan Wrasse", this short set comprises a combination of single-take loop guitar jams and some fun with field recordings. Some of these ideas have been road-tested at recent shows.

Works in progress:

The $un$hine Republic album is finished. Recorded by us ourselves, we've crushed the sound of a massive factory warehouse until the tapes stretched, split and melted. Thanks to Chris and Helen for their never-ending patience.

One of the outtakes from the first Beer Crew weekend is available right now for free on this site.

Jack Nicholson have been drinking again, and the results will be released at some point very soon thanks to Krayon and other labels. One full length record is finished, with loads more on the way.
